This is a custom pet portrait I just finished of an adorable Westie (West Highland Terrier) and a vintage phone and I am just thrilled with how it turned out! I have had a number of people mention how they love the vintage pieces that I do, so I will be continuing to offer pet portraits using items from the past. This is a piece I recently completed of a customer's adorable West Highland Terrier discovering a sweet, little chickadee on a nearby Evergreen tree. I wanted the piece to capture a sense of wonder along with a sense of winter's magic with the softly falling snow made up of intricately designed snowflakes. I HAD to share this photo today as I woke up and looked out the window to see the most perfect dog snow angel I have ever seen! And I swear to you the entire angel was created by our Black Lab, Pepper. I am just amazed at how much it really looks like an angel! All the way down to the bottom! I finished this Black Lab mini aceo painting last night. I enjoy painting Labs, especially Black Labs as I love painting the shades of blue which highlights their fur.
